Position Overview

The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Specialist will perform cycle counting duties, including floor pick locations and verifying products in warehouse reserve locations using appropriate tools (computers, handheld devices, forms, etc.). Additional responsibilities include completing product or lot and date code verifications, auditing paperwork, and handling obsolete inventory.

This is a first shift position, working Monday to Friday from 5am to 1:30pm. The starting pay for this role is no less than $22 per hour.

Job Description

• Conduct accurate cycle counts of inventory locations using appropriate tools and update systems accordingly.
• Research and process problem pallets and unlocated inventory; document errors on the error log as directed by the supervisor.
• Validate product dating in the warehouse and make updates as needed.
• Perform daily audits of inbound receiving, identify variances, investigate root causes, and report errors to operations partners.
• Respond to buyer requests for item checks and internal code-to-code transfers within the warehouse.
• Manage obsolete and at-risk inventory, including vendor returns, donations, and recalls: identifying, communicating, adjusting, and validating products.
• Research and resolve inventory variances.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge: Experience with warehouse and inventory management systems and software preferred.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, grip, carry, and lift objects from 20 lbs to 60 lbs.
• Other Skills: None specified.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
