The Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for a skilled journeyman level Mason to fill a vacant Lead Mason position that is based out of Manana Corporation Yard in Pearl City. As a Lead Mason, your duties and responsibilities will include:Planning, assigning, instructing, inspecting, and supervising subordinate masons, providing training on proper masonry techniques, safe equipment use, and cementitious material handling. Performing all phases of masonry work including concrete formwork and finishing, CMU block construction, ceramic tile installation, plastering, drainage structures, ADA access points, and spall repairs at a journeyman skill level. Reading and interpreting blueprints; laying out projects; and establishing accurate elevations and alignment using transit levels, laser levels, and other precision equipment.
