Summary
You will serve as an ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER in the Environmental Business Line, Environmental Planning Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC. This interdisciplinary position will be filled in one of the following job series: Community Planner (0020), Biologist (0401), Environmental Engineer (0819), or Physical Scientist (1301).

Qualifications
This position has a selective placement factor for the 0819 series: a current license as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-12, including overseeing NEPA applications, reviewing NEPA documentation, and applying knowledge of natural resources management, biological, and physical sciences.
Education
For Series 0020: A community planning degree or related discipline with at least 12 semester hours in planning, socioeconomic, and physical elements of planning, or a combination of education and experience as specified.
For Series 0401: A degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related discipline, with at least 24 semester hours in relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
For Series 0819: A professional engineering degree, licensure as a PE, or equivalent qualifications as detailed above.
For Series 1301: A bachelor's degree or higher in physical science, engineering, or mathematics, including 24 semester hours in relevant science or engineering courses, or equivalent education/experience.
