Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2025-2026, $1,911 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.

Other Conditions:

  • For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
  • Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach a minimum 9 credits of undergraduate Special Education (SPED) Courses as part of the SPED K-12 Licensure pathway.
  • Supervise Special Education Practicum and Student Teaching.
  • Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
  • Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress. Mentoring will be provided, as needed.
  • Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Three (3) or more years of excellent teaching experience in pre-K-12 special education classroom environments.

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • College teaching experience.
