Under the direction of the Manager, coordinates the Information Technology (IT) Change Management and Release Management programs.

Under the direction of the Manager, coordinates the Information Technology (IT) Change Management and Release Management programs.

Responsibilities

• Leads or assists in leading a team of IT professionals in coordinating Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) defined change/release event and tracking processes.
• Directs senior IT Management professionals on IT Service Management (ITSM) change/release management procedures and reporting processes.
• Assists in the development of change/release management programs, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios.
• Implements guidelines for technology change/release management programs.
• Gathers and reports change management data to senior management.
• Communicates with other managers to provide analysis of change management trends.
• Establishes and supports financial metrics with internal and external providers to evaluate spend and performance.
• Assists in IT compliance with accounting rules and regulations, meeting financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates customer service focus by not only providing good service and considering the effect of all actions on internal and external customer service, but always looking for ways to improve service.
• Performs miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent education from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience related to Change Management processes, and/or responsibility for communication of complex technical programs required. Banking/financial industry or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. Familiarity with BMC Remedy, Atrium, or Discovery Manager a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability. Effective conflict management, negotiating and problem solving skills. Must be comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills. Able to be flexible in a fast paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities. Must be technically creative and open-minded. Must have a high attention to detail with regard to accounting skills, be able to work under direct supervision, and an above average understanding of information technology topics. Able to provide own transportation or operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license and commute as necessary. Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
