The Banquet Porter ensures proper set-up and cleanliness of Banquet facilities and maintains proper care of Banquet equipment. They report any discrepancies/damage to any equipment to the Banquet Captain or Manager. Duties:Must be familiar with all set-up requirements and able to comply with all requests as listed on the Catering orders and floor plans. Cleans up and properly stores all Banquet equipment after each function. Proper maintenance of all Banquet equipment. May be asked to wear a pager. Responsible for all Banquet equipment inventory. Knows, understands and enforces objectives, policies, standards and procedures set forth by the Management. Qualifications. Minimum Qualifications. Minimum 6 months Banquet Porter experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read floor plans. Ability to interpret Catering function orders.
