SAIC is seeking aModeling and Simulation EnvironmentManagerlocated at thePacific Warfighting Center (PWC) on Ford Island, HIto support theUSINDOPACOM. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Support the design, planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of joint simulation solutions focused on Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) capabilities during USINDOPACOM JEP events, activities, and other assigned projects
- Serve as a critical Exercise Control Group (ECG) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Expert and Architecture Manager, capturing operational needs and translating them into Joint Live, Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) requirements
- Identify joint simulation solutions, coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders to build the JLVC solution, architecture, and information flows
- Lead the M&S/JLVC Working Group during planning and manage roles of Environment Manager within the LVC Cell during event execution in support of the ECG Director
- Manage the federation of computer models to support ECG scenario/vignette needs and facilitate realistic information flow across the exercise architecture
- Lead test events and validate information flow and architecture during planning and execution
- Maintain a flexible demeanor and willingness to support other duties as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience in building joint solutions (live – virtual – constructive) to support Joint Field Training Exercises (FTX) and other training events at the tactical and operational levels
- Experience with Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises
- Experience facilitating Joint M&S/LVC Working Groups to support exercises
- Experience with simulation federation management
- Familiarity with the Joint Training Manual and Joint Exercise Life Cycle
- Experience in building Simulation Test Plans
- Must be able to obtain a Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Must be a current US Citizen
