Job Purpose

The Project Manager handles specific customer orders and projects for the assigned group(s), with overall responsibility for the planning, executing, and controlling of all phases of the project to meet the defined scope of work, timeline, and budget.

Essential Functions

  • Establish and drive project schedules and commitments
  • Manage assignments, schedules, and deliverables for project team members to meet the scope of work, timeline, and budgets
  • Lead project team meetings
  • Create and deliver project updates and reports to project team members, management, and clients
  • Process new system sale contract packages for voice & data product offerings
  • Coordinate activities for network transport services including DIA, EIPDS, RNS, PRI, DES, P2MP, and SIP, establishing interdepartmental collaboration for successful implementation, after-hour support, tracking CPE equipment, and developing timelines for multisite phased implementations
  • Program/build VOIP systems according to negotiated specifications and customer applications
  • Manage programming information, maintain templates, coordinate due dates, customer training, and order processing
  • Support install cutover activities, activate services in C20 switching equipment, and execute moves, adds, and changes on Hawaiian Telcom's Business All in One, VoIP, and SIP packages
  • Interface with customers on-site, via phone & email, interpret applications, and recommend communication solutions; provide programming support and Tier 2 support for escalated issues

Education

Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses

  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred

Relevant Work Experience

1 to 3 years in related fields, including 1-2 years in Project Management, and 2 years in customer service, operations, sales, technology, or provisioning

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of circuit provisioning and workflows
  • Understanding of FCC Tariffs and experience in a regulated environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM, Tibco, Kenan, AAIS DS & NB, Broadsoft
  • Experience with Enterprise Solutions Group & General Business Sales channels and products

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have direct reports but serves as a lead for similar work teams.

Salary Range: $70,000.00-$98,000.00
