What You Will Do:

We are looking for dedicated professionals eager to mitigate risks within our Information Security team. In this challenging role as a Senior Security Analyst, you will significantly contribute to our security and vulnerability management program, safeguarding Evolent's systems and assets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and enhancing the security, threat, and vulnerability management program in line with established policies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify process gaps and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Expanding scanning coverage to ensure comprehensive risk assessment.
  • Improving security of Docker images, web applications, and other assets.
  • Coordinating scanning and remediation efforts with stakeholders.
  • Conducting health checks for security management tools and reconciling asset information.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for security management.
  • Participating in meetings with stakeholders to address open issues and vulnerabilities, aiming to reduce risk.
  • Reviewing vulnerabilities based on threat intelligence to prioritize remediation efforts effectively.
  • Fostering collaboration within platform and application teams to raise awareness of risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Working with IT infrastructure partners on strategic and tactical plans.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to assess the impact and likelihood of loss events.
  • Generating reports and dashboards using security tools to present actionable insights.
  • Contributing to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions for security management processes.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in security and/or vulnerability management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with patch management processes.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with OS patch management in virtualized environments.
  • Knowledge of security and vulnerability management principles through education and experience.
  • Understanding security ratings, criticality, and risk impacts.
  • A passion for staying informed on new threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools like Tenable or Qualys is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CEH are preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is $88,300 - $128,100, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, to qualified employees. Compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position.
