At the Humana Enterprise Architecture unit, we aim to create a seamless member experience by aligning business strategies with technology approaches. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, your vital role will bridge the gap between business vision, technological strategies, and IT portfolio execution.

In this position, you will:

• Contribute to delivering critical business results while developing technology strategies that maximize IT value.
• Mentor and support enterprise, solution, technology, and system architects across the organization.
• Serve as a primary advocate for business needs within the IT framework, ensuring that technology initiatives align with our strategic goals.
• Participate in enterprise technology modernization efforts by collaborating with application teams and key business and IT stakeholders.
• Promote and facilitate the lean enterprise architecture practice within an agile delivery framework.
• Work with business and tech teams to align business vision and strategy with value streams, capabilities, and functions.
• Document current architectural states, value streams, and domain models in collaboration with domain architects and engineers.
• Implement portfolio rationalization to uncover opportunities for innovation and reduce complexity.
• Define and maintain technology strategies that support the delivery of business objectives.
• Stay updated on cloud services and leverage them effectively to enhance our technology architecture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in application or solution architecture in large-scale enterprise systems.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud-native architectures, and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certification in Azure, GCP, and/or AWS.
• 3-5 years of experience with cloud technologies or enterprise architecture.
• Experience in healthcare business domains such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Specialty.

Additional Information:

• This is a remote role, but occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
• Employees must have internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
