Job Description Summary:
To Assist Yard Superintendent in Coordinating All Aspects of Equipment Management and Ensure Quality Work of Other Yard Field Personnel

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Ability to perform all Yard person II and Yard person III duties (refer to position descriptions)
• Assist in processing telephone orders for tools and equipment
• Fill tool and equipment orders for projects
• Deliver tools and equipment to jobsites
• Repair tools and equipment
• Assure work quality of other yard field personnel
• Maintain shops, warehouse and inventories in good working order
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

• Load and unload products for deliveries

• Make deliveries and ensure product arrives undamaged

• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

• Perform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Lifting and managing heavy objects

• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the yard and other general duties

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Preferred five years experience in construction equipment utilization
• Practical knowledge of function, operation and maintenance of construction tools and equipment
• Training in equipment repair or equivalent experience
• Good construction technical skills
• Effective written and verbal English communications skills
• Problem solving ability and a strong sense of urgency

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced construction environment.
• Complete mandatory background check and drug screening.
• Must complete all DOT driver qualification documents.
• Complete medical exams; including DOT drug/alcohol testing.
• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.
