DescriptionProtects the Center's assets that require protection through painting and associated painting tasks. Utilizes journeyman level certified painting skills to properly prepare surfaces on buildings, structures and facilities for painting. Paints new and existing surfaces using a variety of finishing materials. Performs minor drywall and stucco repair. Essential Functions:Assists others to prepare and paint surfaces with the proper materials and equipment, including filling holes, joints and cracks as needed. Adds to and updates work order system with planned maintenance tasks performed, corrective maintenance information, images and documentation on progress of work being performed as trained and directed. Adds to and updates work order system with planned maintenance scheduling and processes, corrective maintenance information, images and documentation on progress of work being performed. Keeps painting equipment clean and in good running condition and as is legally required. RequirementsAble to speak and write English. Able to lift 75 lbs., have a full range of body movements and good eyesight. Able to use a smartphone or computer to input updates on the work order system. Work Schedule:To Be Determined (19 hours per week)All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
