About the Role:

The Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) at the Hawai‘i State Judiciary is seeking a highly motivated and organized Secretary to support a dynamic team advancing fair and efficient conflict resolution across the state.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday — from office management to graphic design, event planning, website updates, and volunteer coordination. If you're passionate about public service, love juggling multiple responsibilities, and have a flair for clear communication, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clerical support for CADR and the Judiciary's Communications Office
• Design and format flyers, newsletters, and registration campaigns using MailChimp, Adobe, or Canva
• Maintain and update websites (WordPress or other web design experience a plus!)
• Assist in managing volunteer programs, event logistics, and outreach activities
• Handle scheduling, travel arrangements, file maintenance, supply procurement, and more
• Respond to public and internal inquiries with professionalism and courtesy

Desired Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma required
• Experience: 2.5+ years of substantive clerical work

Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Graphic design and/or WordPress/web content experience preferred
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, MailChimp, Canva
