( - Denotes Essential Functions) - Performs site investigations & feasibility studies & provides technical consultation & budget estimates in response to requests for alteration, new construction, & energy management of electrical power & lighting systems. - Performs load & lighting calculations & applies technical design skills, including drafting, to create working drawings & specifications for power & lighting systems. Energy Management - Power & Lighting: Performs engineering service in the implementation of energy conservation measures. Performs energy audits of building system & operations & provides technical assistance in evaluation energy conservation measures. - Reviews engineering studies & design proposals of consulting engineers to insure compliance with University standards. - Project Management: Coordinates activities required to insure the smooth flow of electrical power & lighting systems projects during design phase.
