Job Description

The Architect II will be a key contributor across all project phases - from initial concept design through construction administration. You'll manage the preparation of detailed design documents, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and contractors to bring high-profile infrastructure and civic projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Conduct code compliance reviews (IBC, ADA, Hawai'i Energy Code).
  • Prepare 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations for clients.
  • Participate in construction administration, including site visits and RFI responses.
  • Mentor junior designers and oversee quality control (QA/QC).
  • Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
Requirements
  • Degree: B.Arch or M.Arch (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in architectural design and construction documentation.
  • Technical Skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Twinmotion, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge: IBC, ADA, and energy codes.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
