Job Description
The Architect II will be a key contributor across all project phases - from initial concept design through construction administration. You'll manage the preparation of detailed design documents, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and contractors to bring high-profile infrastructure and civic projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct code compliance reviews (IBC, ADA, Hawai'i Energy Code).
- Prepare 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations for clients.
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits and RFI responses.
- Mentor junior designers and oversee quality control (QA/QC).
- Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
- Degree: B.Arch or M.Arch (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in architectural design and construction documentation.
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Twinmotion, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge: IBC, ADA, and energy codes.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative Culture: Work with a multi-disciplinary team on iconic projects.
