Hawaii Behavioral Health is looking for an experienced, passionate Program Manager to lead a Clinical Team. The qualified Program Manager will be responsible for building and growing HBH's ABA services platform across the State of Hawaii, while managing a team of clinical professionals. The Program Manager plays a critical leadership role, responsible for the seamless day-to-day operations of the ABA Department. This includes effective quality assurance and compliance, building and retaining a high-quality staff, referral development, stakeholder satisfaction, process management, and ensuring a responsive and client-centered experience throughout the care journey. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the ABA Program.
  • Responsible for program economic viability and growth by developing and conducting performance improvement activities within the program.
  • Formalize all ABA program's operations, document structure, and writing standards.
  • Assess and monitor for appropriate recommendations and contract utilization.
  • Identify and develop areas of growth and service expansion.
  • Collaborate with admin team on measurable financial objectives and meet quarterly goals.
  • Help with recruiting, rapidly build, and retain a high-quality staff.
  • Proactively monitor staff coverage and resolve scheduling gaps or conflicts in real time.
  • Optimize staff utilization to balance operational efficiency with high levels of client and employee satisfaction.
  • Structure and monitor trainings for RBT's and BCBA's.
  • Training and oversight of all ABA Program Coordinators.
  • Ensure training procedures and schedules are maintained for staff.
  • Update and conduct performance reviews for ABA program coordinators.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, referral sources and other personnel working with clients.
  • Maintain quick turnaround times to minimize delays in care.
  • Collaborate with community partners and attend Community outreach events.
  • Provide administrative input for individual and group supervision to HBH staff working with the Department of Education and Private Insurance as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university or number of years of experience equivalent
  • +2 years of management and operations experience
  • Exceptionally organized and process-driven, with strong follow-through
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Central Reach platform system a plus
  • Experience in ABA industry a plus
Essential Duties:
  • Stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Utilize computer, cell phone or desk phone, and scanner/printer.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy.
  • Utilize consistent and professional interpersonal and communication skills with clients, outside agency staff, and HBH staff.
