Marketing Automation Manager

Position Function:

This position serves as the primary owner of our marketing automation and technology initiatives. This role is instrumental in developing and executing our marketing automation strategy, leveraging technology, including AI, to enhance both strategic and tactical sales and marketing objectives. The individual in this role should have hands-on expertise in marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including campaign development, lead nurturing, data management, and performance analysis, all aimed at growing our marketing funnel and managing owned media data.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Serves as the bank's Marketing Automation Expert:
    1. Develops and optimizes our automation platform, methodology and infrastructure for email-driven engagement, lead scoring, and nurturing programs.
    2. Manage all aspects of the automation platform, including configuration, implementation, and maintenance of all email marketing campaigns and workflows.
    3. Update email campaign workflows as business requirements change.
    4. Collaborate on content targeting for electronic marketing, specifically for email campaigns, develop landing pages, and conduct A/B tests to boost conversions.
    5. Refine lead scoring and analyze campaign performance to optimize content, mix, and frequency, ensuring goal achievement.
    6. Manage the database toolset for customer segmentation and insights, maintaining data hygiene and synchronization across the HubSpot marketing automation platform and CRM to support targeted email communications.
    7. Create sales and marketing KPI dashboards and reports, ensuring accurate metric reporting for email performance with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
    8. Define future marketing automation models and roadmaps, including AI, with a strong focus on enhancing email communication capabilities through the platform.
  • Manage marketing data:
    1. Develop and maintain the automation platform's back-end data architecture, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
    2. Provide relevant data tools and insights to support quantitative analysis of marketing and revenue campaigns.
    3. Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on data topics related to the platform.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university in Business Administration or related field required.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in managing email marketing and automation programs within HubSpot, encompassing strategy, execution, and performance analysis required.
  • 3+ years of experience with email development (HTML/CSS), advanced segmentation, and analytics for campaign optimization preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, data hygiene, and cross-functional project collaboration preferred.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
