Position: HR Manager (Permanent)Location: WaipioIndustry: TransportationSalary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually, depending on experienceLocal company seeking a Human Resources Manager!Job Duties:Manages the HR department by overseeing day-to-day activities to ensure complianceOversees recruitment and retention processesWorks closely with managers on performance management including proper disciplinary actionsEnsures policies comply with federal and state lawAdministers employee surveys to provide appropriate engagement activities through company events and programsConducts wage reviews using surveys and develops recommendationsPrepares recommendations for benefits offerings and partners with benefits vendors for open enrollment renewalsReviews all leave requests and determines applicable leave qualificationsKeeps abreast of all changes to Federal and State employment and payroll laws.Advises and assists management in handling problems of discriminatory work practices in their departmentsCommunicates best practices relating to employment and labor policiesSupports safety programOther duties as assigned#RemedyHIDirectHireQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experienceAt least 2-3 years of HR Generalist experienceMust have previous transportation HR experienceUnion experience preferredExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsMust be able to multi-task and juggle different prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office***In-state applicants only as client companies expect candidates to interview for positions as soon as possible***#J-18808-Ljbffr
