What You'll Be Doing as the Medical Billing Clerk :

• Respond to patient, client, and insurance inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Manage and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and claims follow-ups
• Process medical billing, payments, re-billing, and statements
• Perform account reconciliation and reporting tasks
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all billing activity

Requirements to Apply:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of customer service or public contact experience
• 6 months of medical billing or collections experience (or completion of DLS Billing Externship)

Preferred Experience for the Medical Billing Clerk:

• Knowledge of Xifin billing software
• Alphanumeric data entry skills
• Prior experience filing and processing medical claims
