Stantec GS is seeking a highly skilled Marine Biologist on a PART-TIME basis to join our Honolulu, HI o?ce. The biologist will utilize their expertise in coral ecology water quality to fulfill a range of responsibilities related to marine resource monitoring, data collection and analysis, and report writing and documentation. - - Your Key Responsibilities - - - Conducting underwater monitoring of mitigation activities. - Record biological and GIS data underwater and on a vessel. - Enter, organize, analyze, and QC data - Assist with reporting of ongoing mitigation activities - Using photogrammetry to generate orthomosaic imagery to monitor coral health, bleaching events, and species diversity. - - Your Capabilities and Credentials - - - Strong knowledge of underwater survey techniques, data collection methods, data handling, quality control, data entry and analysis, and reporting. - Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with identification of coral reef and nearshore native and invas...Marine Biologist, Biologist, Marine, Monitoring, Diversity, Manufacturing, Technology, GIS
