Our Service Assistants shuttle vehicles and customers, and assist our technicians to provide a luxury experience to our customers.
- Maintaining professionalism during the fast paced environment and stressful situations.
- Moving vehicles in tight and congested areas.
- Maintain constant flow of vehicles in service area
Customer Satisfaction:
- Professional attitude and demeanor at all times
- Professional dress code as described by service manager
- Neat & clean appearance
- A supportive attitude to all customers and employees
- Abide by Servco's shared values.
Cleaning of Vehicles:
- Washing exterior and chamois dry
- Clean wheels and tires
- Vacuum interior
- Clean engine bay
- Wipe dash and clean interior windows if necessary.
Shuttle Service:
- Drop off and pick up customers at destinations
- Drop off and pick up vehicles for sublet repairs
- Practice safe operation of all vehicles
- Communicate professionally and respectfully to all customers and others while on the road.
General Housekeeping:
- Sweep floors and remove debris in customer service area.
- Empty rubbish can as necessary
- Discard waste oil.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum experience required for the job: Previous auto work experience preferred
Dependability and Accuracy:
Confidential work is not large factor, however there is considerable risks involved due to the transfer/constant movement of vehicles of high value.
Physical Demands:
Almost continuous loading, unloading, pulling, bending, lifting, etc. Difficult working positions. Heavy labor (maintenance workers). Examples include warehouse workers, mechanics, delivery drivers, technicians, commercial tire changers. Constant movement and bending (wash and vacuum of vehicles). High amounts of walking, standing throughout the day.
Constant customer contact, as this position is "front line", the first and the last person a customer sees are the service assistants. It is Important that a positive impression is projected at all times.

Responsibilities: - Drives and parks vehicles at various sites and locations
- Interact and build relationships with our customers by providing a positive customer service experience
- Inspects and ensures vehicle is clean inside and out prior to delivering to customer, which may include driving vehicles through automated car wash
- Ensures proper maintenance of service area to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Properly disposes of waste oil and parts
- Provides shuttle service to customers
- Assists auto technicians and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements: - High school graduate or equivalent
- Auto work experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a dedication to customer service excellence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Advancement opportunities: A Service Assistant I has opportunities to advance into positions such as Lube Specialist, Parts Parts Assistant or Diagnostic Specialist I roles. Note: In order to qualify for a Diagnostic Specialist I position, an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology is required, so we recommend looking into this degree early on if this is the career path that you are interested in pursuing.
