Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for daily operations of the nursing unit, and supervision and support of personnel and patients. Includes administrative duties and may include hands-on clinical duties and responsibilities. Assists in setting the standard of care in the department, consistent with the mission, vision and philosophy of the organization. - Participates in the administrative and operational management and long-range planning of unit(s) and area(s) assigned as required. - Serves as the manager in the absence of the department manager. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking. - Frequent: static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. - Occasional: stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of one pound up to five pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
