Job Details

Major Duties 1. Performs procedures such as Upper and Lower GI studies, Intravenous Pyelograms, Cystography, Hystereosalpingography, Arthrography, Cholangiograms, Sinograms, Fistulagrams. Prepare the imaging suite. Assure that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other required equipment are present and arranged appropriately. May prepare contrast material. Administers contrast under the supervision of the attending physician. Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic and other special radiographic examinations which require the administration of contrast material. Prepares the patient, explains the procedure, sets up the imaging suite and equipment, prepares the contrast material for administration and sets up the sterile field. Assists the radiologist during the procedure and performs follow up imaging independently. 2. Independently performs a variety routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.
