As a Construction Surveillance Technician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following: Support Site Security Manager (SSM) and Special Security Representative (SSR) functions as assigned; act as the SSM/ SSR in absence of primary. Conduct daily checks of secured and un-secured areas on the worksite. Ensure all construction personnel on the job site constantly display the required badging and have access to certain areas. Provide surveillance of construction personnel during performance at the worksite. Maintain daily security log of all workers entering/exiting the worksite. Operate proposed inspection equipment. Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines, to include civil architectural, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering principles. Read and analyze designs and blueprints and recognize the architect's intended use.
