The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety and security programs that ensure the well-being of employees, visitors, and property. This role oversees building safety measures, enforces compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety standards, and leads training programs to promote a culture of safety across the organization. The Hawaii Convention Center is a twenty-four hour per day, seven day per week security operation. Essential Functions: SAFETY MANAGEMENT - Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards and other applicable regulations. Conduct regular building safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses. Oversee the maintenance of safety equipment, emergency systems, and fire prevention measures. Ensure proper signage, accessibility, and building code compliance across all facilities.
