The Department of Enterprise Service, Golf Courses Division is looking for a Chemical Treatment Worker II to properly mix, spray, and apply insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers on the golf course. As a Chemical Treatment Worker II, your duties and responsibilities will include:Measuring, mixing, and applying agronomic chemicals and fertilizers in accordance with labeled instructions. Calibrating spray equipment and applying chemicals via motorized/riding spray unit, backpack sprayer, or hand spray unit. Operating a light or medium truck to transport pallets of pesticides and fertilizers, farm tractor and/or turf trickster with fertilizer spreader, chemical sprayer, and aerator attachments. Surveying and identifying the area to be treated, determines the applicable chemical/fertilizer to be applied and the appropriate amount/mixture to be applied.
