Under general supervision, this position performs as principal staff specialist on a union/management team involved in negotiating of collective bargaining agreements; serves as principal specialist in administering the negotiated collective bargaining agreements; and regularly performs the most difficult and complex labor relations assignments. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Participating in dispute resolution matters, including providing departmental assistance in processing of grievances, assuring that adequate documentation and safeguards are developed to resolve grievances and ensure proper administration of collective bargaining agreements.
