Handyman/Service Technician
Modular Building Remodeling
Shift: Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Kapolei, HI
Startign Pay Rate: $22-$28/hr, paid weekly
Job Summary:
Service Technicians perform inspections, repairs, and readiness work on modular buildings, covering areas such as carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Environment:
- Adhere to company safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
- Attend safety meetings and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Fleet Maintenance and Repairs:
- Conduct repairs on modular buildings, including carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and HVAC maintenance.
- Inspect and document building conditions upon check-in/out, assess repair needs, and create floor plans as necessary.
- Provide customer service by explaining repairs and modifications, managing inventory, and completing paperwork for deliveries and service calls.
- Ensure modular units meet quality standards for scheduled deliveries.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities to interact with customers, sales teams, contractors, and other employees.
- Carpentry experience required; electrical, plumbing, and welding skills are a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
