Job DescriptionTo provide quality customer service to all persons inquiring about programs and services. To perform a variety of administrative tasks related to the Human Services programs, including reviewing donation pick-up requests and applications for emergency financial and material assistance, scheduling donation pickups and client appointments, and data entry. Assist in coordinating events between departments and programs of Helping Hands Hawaii, as well as with social service partner providers.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Answers incoming phone lines and routes calls to appropriate departments and/or contact persons.Responds to donation, client, and community partner inquiries, providing information regarding services.Schedules donation, client, and partner provider appointments.Completes administrative tasks, including forms processing, data entry, photocopying, word processing, and filing.Conducts surveys with donors, clients, and partners.Researches and maintains a list of community resources.Maintains community partnerships to keep an inventory of material goods.Assists with processing and maintaining applications for material and financial assistance received from partner providers, including completing applications.Supports the Program Manager/Coordinator in planning and coordinating activities for the Human Services programs.Assists with training office interns and volunteers.Participates in outreach efforts to solicit potential applicants and partners for the programs.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of progressive job-related experience, preferably in Human Services.Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database software.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse persons and programs within a multi-faceted agency and community.Strong organizational skills to manage activities and volunteers effectively.Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing) with the ability to relay detailed and accurate information.Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.Valid driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and willingness to use a properly insured vehicle.Current TB Clearance.Note: The qualification statement was duplicated; it has been combined and clarified.Must comply with company policies, including confidentiality, HIPAA, safety, and ethics.EEO/AA/M/F/Vet/#J-18808-Ljbffr
