  • Minimum 12 years of experience with a High School diploma, 10 years with an Associate's/Associate of Science degree, 8 years with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher is required.
  • At least three years of progressive experience in implementing, administering, testing, and analyzing networks. Candidates must be familiar with current and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, AND CCNA OR Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate.

Peraton seeks Unified Communication Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is based at Camp Smith, HI.

The SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order aims to provide USSOCOM and its associated commands with Operations and Maintenance services, including Network Operations, system and network infrastructure maintenance, end-user support, configuration management, training, and IMAC services. These responsibilities are critical to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating worldwide 24/7/365.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Administer all SOCPAC Unified Communications systems and services per Government policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Unified Communications, including performance, connectivity, call quality, dropped calls, and video conferencing problems.
  • Provide Tier 2 or Tier 3 support to end-users and IT staff.
  • Utilize tools like RTMT, Command Prompt, PowerShell, and VQ Conference Manager for monitoring and troubleshooting networks.
  • Create reports and logs to ensure Unified Communications systems function properly.
  • Document and maintain Unified Communications topologies.
  • Handle ticket requests, resolve incidents, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams and Cisco Jabber usage, including service health and user support.
  • Stay updated with Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and evaluate their impact.
  • Add and manage users in Cisco Jabber, including access, roles, and settings.
  • Configure chat and calling features for Cisco Jabber.
  • Manage Cisco Jabber Persistent Chat Spaces, including creating public and private spaces.
  • Administer IP telephony systems, including VoIP phones, voicemail, call groups, and SIP trunks.
  • Manage Cisco Meeting Server, VCS, Expressway-C, and Expressway-E for voice and video traffic.
  • Perform daily system checks and report status.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions.
