Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking qualified candidates to join our team. MCCS provides programs that support and enhance the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to speak, read, and write English. Good communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to lift and carry children and objects up to 45 lbs independently (or with assistance for heavier items) are required. The position may require driving a vehicle, including government vehicles transporting children, and obtaining a government driver's license. Prior experience working with children, youth, or teens is required.
Candidates should have the skill to interpret and implement developmentally appropriate curricula for children and teens. Acceptable qualifications include:
All applicants must complete required training for Program Assistant levels, pass background checks, and physical exams, provide immunization evidence, and maintain current certifications in food handling, CPR, and First Aid. The position is subject to drug testing and other employment policies.
