First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced, results-driven, Assistant Vice President, Marketing Analytics to join our Omni Channel Center Team. As a key member of FHB's dynamic Marketing Communications Division, this position is responsible for business intelligence reporting and data analytics, providing actionable marketing and customer behavioral analyses and insights to advance the Bank's initiatives and improve the quality of the customer experience.
This position also provides business leadership and application and process support, identifying and managing data management, data integrity, and system optimization initiatives among marketing platforms and internal/ external connections to best support divisional needs.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $90k - $120k/year; commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate should have the following at a minimum:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, business intelligence, data analytics, data science, information systems, quantitative analysis, or related concentration required
SQL programming certification or equivalent required
Tableau Certified Data Analyst or equivalent required
5+ years of relevant work experience, which includes a minimum of 4 years in business intelligence/ data analytics roles with increasing responsibilities required
4+ years professional level experience in data management in Snowflake, AWS, etc. or related experience required
3+ years business analyst or application support experience required
Strong communication and management skills and ability to effect change
Knowledge of industry best practices
Marketing platform experience (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Financial Services Cloud, Customer Data Platforms, Amperity) preferred
Tableau Server Certified Associate or equivalent preferred
SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 4.2 or equivalent preferred
Business Analyst certification from a reputable organization (e.g. International Institute of Business Analyst) preferred
Business Analyst experience supporting mainframe or client server applications preferred
Highly proficient in SQL programming, with hands-on experience in data management, data modeling, integration, quality assurance, and expertise with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake and cloud platforms such as AWS
Excellent working knowledge of database constructs, report writing/visualization, and spreadsheet applications
Complete experience with report writer and visualization applications (e.g., Tableau, Marketing Cloud Intelligence)
Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and excellent follow-through
Self-motivated and proactive, with a proven ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
Highly organized with excellent time management skills, ability to plan, organize, and budget
Proven leadership in managing projects and teams, with strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality results under pressure
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and handle confidential matters with discretion
Demonstrated ability to leverage critical thinking to tackle complex challenges, including analyzing and researching customer data to develop actionable strategies and solutions
Self-motivated, able to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problems quickly
Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
Basic knowledge of client server and SaaS applications
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Project
Must be able to work within a fast-paced team
