Responsibilities

The CSFC Solutions Engineer will support the development, configuration, testing, and evaluation of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) used to secure government data and networks. Responsibilities include configuring network, software, hardware components, and security appliances to meet DoD requirements, supporting installation and initialization onsite in customer environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing CSfC compliant solutions meeting NSA, DoD, and customer requirements.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and efficiency.
• Developing and modifying system scripts (e.g., bash, python).
• Writing system documentation, configuration guides, test procedures, and training materials.
• Evaluating current systems, identifying improvements, and implementing new technologies.
• Configuring, administering, and maintaining systems (e.g., RHEL, vCenter, Windows Server, HPE) to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD standards.
• Supporting all Cross-Domain solution requirements.
• Serving as escalation point during outages and supporting Tier 2 and 3 systems.
• Authoring systems engineering design packages and detailed implementation plans.
• Performing systems design and integration, developing secure communication systems.
• Configuring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions.
• Documenting configurations, test procedures, and results.
• Providing on-site training, installation, and integration support.
• Recommending hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis.
• Providing technical expertise during complex system development.
• Applying DoD STIGs and IAVAs.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Top Secret or higher clearance with T5 investigation.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• BA/BS (12 years), MA/MS (10 years).
• One of the following DoD8140 Certifications: CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.
• Professional Systems Certification (e.g., MCSA, Linux).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Location: Fort Shafter, HI. Office environment, with stairs access. Noise level: low. Work schedule: Day shift, Monday – Friday, with potential evenings and weekends. Travel: Less than 20%.

Physical demands include frequent use of hands, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Authorization/Security

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Top-Secret Clearance required.

Wage Information

Target salary: $91,000 – $123,000, based on experience and organizational needs.
