The Site Lead is the primary front-line security officer responsible for responding to emergencies using proper tactics, techniques, and procedures within established time constraints.
The Site Lead also manages administrative duties such as correspondence, memos, quality control, recordkeeping, training scheduling, CPR/first-aid scheduling, drug testing, physical exams, payroll processing, data entry, and work schedule distribution, along with other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities include ensuring subordinate security personnel (Security Guard II) perform client services in accordance with contract requirements, post orders, policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
The pay rate for this position is $24.24/hour plus $5.25/hour H&W.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and proficiently performing all duties in the Security Guard II job description.
- Providing briefings to incoming officers and ensuring their knowledge is current.
- Inspecting each guard post within the first 2 hours of shift and documenting the visit.
- Responding to incidents and directing guard response activities as needed.
- Knowing all guard posts and site locations, resolving urgent situations or reporting them appropriately.
- Generating timely and accurate reports, including payroll, training, personnel, and event logs.
- Reviewing incident investigations and ensuring proper notifications are made.
- Monitoring project expenditures and ensuring budget compliance.
- Scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitoring employee compliance with safety, health, and HR policies.
- Coordinating with management on staffing, recruitment, and HR compliance.
- Training staff in security procedures and operational protocols.
- Maintaining activity logs, badges, and equipment logs.
- Reviewing violations and following up on facility deficiencies or repairs.
- Performing other duties as required or specified in the contract.
Access to government facilities is mandatory for this role. Access may be revoked for misconduct or security reasons, which could lead to employment termination if minimum qualifications can no longer be met.
Supervision
The Site Lead supervises Security Guard II personnel and ensures work meets both company and client standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of armed security, military police, or law enforcement experience, plus one of the following:
- Associates degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
- Three years of recent security experience, military or National Guard service, or POST certification.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, excellent communication.
- Certifications: State Armed Security Guard license.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Pre-employment: Background check, drug test, physical exam.
- Valid driver's license.
- Post-hire: Security clearances, weapons qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with M4 / Remington 870 and .40 caliber platforms is preferred.
