Description:

Consolidated Engineering Laboratories (CEL) is a leader in providing quality materials testing and construction inspection services. CEL is a union firm with its corporate headquarters located in San Ramon, CA and has full-service facilities in Northern California, Hawaii, and Utah.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Salt Lake City, UT team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Position will complete administrative tasks for the Salt Lake City office and assist the Salt Lake City Operations Manager.

  • Answer incoming phone calls for the office and direct callers to the correct person/dept.
  • Compile proposals once budgets and scopes of work have been completed
  • Enter completed proposal information into Zoho and distribute to potential clients
  • Update SLC Marketing Report with all proposals, MSAs, and call-ins.
  • Following up with project setup status
  • Following up with pending proposals
  • Assist in invoice reviews, as needed
  • Email clients on behalf of CEL's management team
  • Manage office supplies and stationery, as needed
  • Search bid sites for upcoming projects and add RFP due date to shared calendar
  • Assist in field report review, as needed
  • Update personnel resumes and certification list
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in the materials testing and inspection industry preferred.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong writing abilities for electronic communication
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Familiar with converting Word documents into PDFs
  • Experience with Adobe or similar PDF software

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work well with colleagues
  • Self-directed to complete work responsibilities
