Job Description:

We're searching for Data Scientists to contribute to an important mission within the Federal Government.

Data Scientists shall possess the following capabilities:

• Proficiency in 2 or more of the following skill areas:
• Foundations: Mathematical, Computational, Statistical
• Data Processing: Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility
• Modeling, Inference, and Prediction: Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations
• Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets and communicate conclusions effectively.
• Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for analyzing large datasets, translating mission needs into technical requirements.
• Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Make informed recommendations considering the capabilities and limitations of Government data systems.

Data Scientist Level 2

Salary: $112,000 - $124,000

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Associates degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related fields with substantial coursework in advanced Mathematics and/or computer science.
• Relevant experience in machine learning, data science, programming (e.g., Python), statistical analysis, data management, data mining, AI, and software engineering.
