The Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation is at the heart of Leidos' innovative security solutions tailored for aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure clients globally. Our extensive portfolio, with over 24,000 products deployed across 120 countries, positions us uniquely to tackle emerging security challenges through rapid and creative solution development. This role involves travel to various customer sites both domestically and internationally as needed.

SES comprises three divisions to effectively meet our customers' diverse needs:

  • Aviation Solutions
  • Ports & Borders
  • Global Services

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing customer support through the installation, modification, and repair of advanced equipment and systems.
  • Executing on-site installations and testing of equipment to confirm they are in optimal working condition.
  • Identifying and resolving equipment start-up malfunctions promptly.
  • Completing both scheduled and ad-hoc assignments with detailed instructions.
  • Adhering to established guidelines, procedures, and policies at all times.
  • Handling semi-routine tasks while being able to identify deviations from standard practices.
  • Managing resources effectively, maintaining schedules, and prioritizing repair activities to comply with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Working in a 24/7 customer environment that requires immediate responsiveness, including after-hours on-call duties, sometimes necessitating long-distance travel.
  • Updating and managing work orders in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or military training in related fields. Equivalent experience of at least 2 years in an electrical or mechanical field service role is acceptable. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn specialized software are essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset. Willingness to travel at short notice is a must.
  • Able to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
  • A self-motivated, dependable, and accountable individual.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to push or pull up to 200 lbs.
  • Skilled in moving heavy equipment (up to 1000 lbs.) using carts, hoists, davit cranes, or pallet jacks as outlined in manuals and technical documentation.
  • Physically capable of bending, stooping, twisting, and working in various positions that require full-body mobility.
  • Committed to working safely and following safety protocols in challenging environments, including varying temperatures, humidity levels, noise, confined spaces, and around industrial equipment.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $72,000.
