Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, this position supports the investor relations function through strategic analytics to meet the company's business/financial goals and objectives. Identifies new opportunities and creates solutions to present to senior leadership. If applicable or appropriate, assists in the business unit's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytic support for investor relations functions including peer analysis, quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and investor due diligence. Monitors analyst reports and estimates of financial performance. Researches and analyzes overall market, economic, and competitive conditions and operational results. Collaborates with other areas within Finance and Risk, and external partners. Works independently on idea generation and development, effectively communicates ideas, and prioritizes needs of the institution. Conducts presentations and communicates at all levels.
  • Assists in coordination of earnings releases, investor conferences, and meetings. Maintains investor relations website. Participates in division long-range planning and monitors expense management efforts. May manage department projects related to services, operations, systems, and technologies, overseeing procedural, operational, and system changes.
  • Develops analytics resources and supports information culture. May assist with staff management, training, coaching, motivation, performance reviews, and staffing recommendations. Conducts staff meetings and interviews candidates for open positions.
  • Provides technical and operational support, researches inquiries, handles operational tasks, and ensures policies and procedures are followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-6 years of strategy development, analytics, and reporting experience. Project management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and bank software systems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and across departments. Maintains confidentiality and professionalism. Flexibility to work hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed.
