Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

International SOS seeks an experienced Logistics Planner to develop and implement strategies ensuring the timely and efficient movement, supply, and maintenance of troops and equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, analyzing logistics challenges, and collaborating with units to enhance operational readiness and support mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in various aspects of logistics to improve planning effectiveness.
  • Coordinate pre-deployment planning for maintenance personnel, facilities, support equipment, materiel, and services.
  • Develop logistics estimates, including assessing capabilities and characteristics of the operational area.

This list is non-exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience in logistical planning.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work typically performed in an office environment.
  • Sitting, standing, climbing stairs for extended periods.
  • May involve bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must obtain or have required security clearances.

Additional Information

Pay range is based on various factors and includes benefits. Final salary will depend on background, experience, skills, and market data.

Compensation: Min $35/hr, Max $39/hr
