Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Participate in research initiatives to advance radiation therapy techniques.
• Educate and train healthcare professionals on radiation physics and equipment operation.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance by implementing safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Apply innovative problem-solving skills for treatment challenges.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field.
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics or equivalent.
• Holds HDR license or is eligible.
• Strong background in radiation physics with extensive experience with radiation therapy equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.
