Job Overview

The Project Management team at Cambium Assessment, Inc. works closely with internal teams and the state client to ensure all deliverables related to statewide computer-based assessment programs are performed according to the contract.

As part of the Project team, the Senior Project Coordinator will work collaboratively on specific short- and long-term projects. You will oversee tasks delegated by the project manager and provide administrative support for internal teams and the client. The role requires working independently on small projects with minimal supervision.

Location: Ideal candidate will reside on Oahu, Hawaii (preferably near Honolulu)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level support to the program manager and project team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, including assessment schedules and client planning documents.
  • Address operational issues and resolve typical project challenges with minimal support.
  • Coordinate software user acceptance testing and specifications verification; track feedback and responses.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions on online testing systems.
  • Maintain quality control on project outputs like reports and tests.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, issues logs, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and training sessions, primarily on Oahu, with occasional travel to other islands (~4-6 times/year).
  • Collaborate with Help Desk to manage client-facing issues.
  • Respond to client requests and provide information within your scope.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently on detailed tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools
  • Experience in data analysis, user acceptance testing, training, or customer service related to software applications
