Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Completion of nursing fundamentals course.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an inpatient student nurse aide within the last year.
• Must show competency with obtaining and documenting vital signs, input, output, and daily weights with various patient populations.
• Experience providing comfort and support to patients, assisting with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living, and safe transportation/handling of patients.
• Experience performing clerical duties is a plus and may be required per facility guidelines.
