Summary
The Director of Business Development (DBD) for Dedicated Transportation is responsible for leading the pursuit of new business and expansion/renewal opportunities. The successful DBD will coordinate the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, prospect qualification, and guiding the cross-functional pursuit team with clear strategies on deal approach: pricing, service offerings, value proposition, and presentation methods. The focus is on securing new sales contracts through team and solution selling. The individual will be assigned a sales quota and held accountable for meeting it.
