Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

International SOS seeks an experienced Strategic Planner to develop, analyze, and implement long-term strategies aligned with defense objectives to improve operational effectiveness. The role involves assessing geopolitical environments, resource allocations, and military capabilities to support decision-making and mission readiness. The Strategic Planner collaborates with stakeholders to create actionable plans that support the military's strategic goals and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research, gather, and analyze information to update policies and procedures.
  2. Propose solutions to enhance strategic and operational planning.
  3. Prepare and present reports on strategy ideas to senior management.
  4. Align processes, resource planning, and department goals with overall strategy and support organizational changes.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience in strategic planning.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work typically performed in an office environment.
  • Sitting, standing, climbing stairs for prolonged periods.
  • May involve bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain required security clearances.

Additional Information

Pay ranges from $33 to $36 per hour, based on experience and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses. Salary offers will consider the applicant's background, skills, and market data.
