Prepares forms, researches and verifies information to resolve routine problems
Organizes and sorts incoming correspondence
Distributes reports and memos
Performs photocopying and typing
Perform Accounting related tasks including AR, AP, Credit Memo, etc.
Perform HR related tasks, including hiring, termination, performance management, payroll, benefits, leaves, workers comp, etc.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and handle internal and external audit
Ensure clean, safe work environment, handling janitorial, repair, supply and maintenance related issues as needed
Coordinate Safety Committee, assuring optimum safety standards are maintained and investigations completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Take immediate action in coordination with senior management to resolve any problems that could impact productivity, safety and harmony of a smooth operation
Other duties as necessary to support on-going operational needs
Qualifications:
Excellent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
High school graduate or equivalent experience required
Payroll knowledge and experience preferred
Food distribution experience preferred
Familiar with Japanese business and Asian food culture preferred
Fluent in other Asian Language preferred
3+ years of administrative experience preferred
Microsoft Office computer skills required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Office environment experience preferred
