PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Directs, administers, and controls the day-to-day operations and activities of dialysis facilities and programs in an assigned area, ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high-quality dialysis services and outstanding patient care. Responsible for oversight of RRI and RTG research projects. Participates in board meetings with Joint Venture partners. Implements divisional and company initiatives and strategies. Practices cost containment strategies, maintaining profitability and growth while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Collaborates with the Business Leadership team to develop new business opportunities to meet treatment growth goals. Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, following all regulatory and company policies.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Drive the RRI culture through values and customer service standards. Ensure outstanding customer service to all customers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication.
• Respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues promptly.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Oversee dialysis business within assigned facilities, managing customer service, patient care, marketing, and fiscal responsibilities. Ensure operations adhere to regulatory and company standards.
• Review and implement clinical studies with RRI Research. Educate staff on protocols. Participate in research meetings.
• Oversee RTG product research and coordinate market preference studies.
• Participate in Board meetings with JV partners. Prepare and review operational reports.
• Develop strategic plans, goals, and objectives aligned with regional and company goals. Implement quality and operational strategies.
• Collaborate with RTG sales, marketing, and management to maximize earnings and develop new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with physicians and market nephrologists for treatment growth.
• Lead formulation and implementation of business growth initiatives.
• Support evaluations and integration of new technologies.
• Provide leadership and support to facility management, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Address adverse events proactively.
• Manage budgets, monitor performance, and oversee financial aspects of facilities.
• Work closely with Managed Care to increase payor mix and retain patients.
• Oversee expenses, payroll, and cost containment strategies.
• Review financial performance regularly and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Implement business initiatives and corrective action plans for underperforming clinics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and security standards.
• Participate in training and leadership development.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Includes desk work, interaction with staff and patients, and travel between facilities. Work environment typical of healthcare settings, with exposure to infectious materials possible.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare preferred; RN with healthcare management experience also acceptable.

Experience and Skills: 3-5 years in business operations management, leadership, financial competence, quality improvement, and team building skills.

RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: management teams, finance, corporate; External: physicians, hospitals, agencies.

SUPERVISION: Clinical Managers and staff.

Salary range depends on location and experience. Supports West Oahu. EOE, disability/veterans.
