Persons employed as a Terminal and Pipeline Operator are expected to:

Operate valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading and ensure required procedures are followed as per company and USCG standards.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and obtain an airport security badge. Must be insurable by company insurance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clear driving record for the past 3 years, along with other required identification or authorization for FFA Airport.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write in English, perform basic math, and understand measurements related to fuel storage.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs on occasion.

Pay ranges vary based on factors including skill, education, shift, responsibilities, seniority, geographic location, merit, output, productivity, training, or experience. The starting pay rate for this position is $24.33/hour, per the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

The essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following, performed in various weather and environmental conditions:

  • Operate valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading in compliance with company and USCG procedures.
  • Operate valves for product receipt via pipeline, tanker, or barge deliveries.
  • Conduct personnel training.
  • Maintain operational reports and records.
  • Participate in emergency response drills.
  • Perform fuel quality control testing.
  • Perform janitorial and ground maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to attendance and tardiness policies.
