Starting Pay: $19.00 per hourPosition Summary Description:Ensures the security of Company facilities, with a focus on ChefZone, through the monitoring and use of surveillance and access control systems, conducting regular inspections and observation, assisting with investigations of asset losses, policy violations, and security breaches, and providing recommendations on security improvements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assists Asset Protection manager and Loss Prevention Supervisor with the issuance and maintenance of employee ID badges/access cards. Monitors and modifies access rights in accordance with individual job responsibilities and work schedule.Monitors surveillance cameras to ensure internal and external security.Assists with security vendors (Alert Alarm, Jan Guard Security, etc.) to schedule repairs and maintenance for security equipment, update notification lists as needed.Maintains documentation of all loss prevention activity.Conducts surveillance of external theft suspects in compliance with ChefZone's Ethical Standards and Apprehension Guidelines. Monitors customer and associate activity in the store to prevent potential theft of ChefZone assets.Assists in monitoring store compliance with ChefZone policies and procedures on theft deterrence, safety, and operational controls.Conducts inspections and audits of the facilities and procedures involving loss prevention and security, including will call, day and night warehouse operations, cash handling and cash register operations.Conducts regular inspections of inventory items with large/frequent shrinkage. For ChefZone location verifies proper labeling on inventory items and audits proper scanning of items at the register.Assists with investigations of asset losses, policy violations, and security breaches.Uses the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.Qualifications:Must have High School diplomaValid driver's licenseExperience in loss prevention in a retail/hotel environmentMust have current State of Hawaii Guard Card or able to obtain oneCommunication Skills:Must possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to communicate with internal and external associates in an effective, professional, and persuasive manner.Other Skills:Must maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Experience in Customer Service, Inventory or Food Service desired.Benefits:Competitive PayMedical/Vision/Dental401(k) with Company MatchingLife insuranceEmployee DiscountsAdvancement OpportunitiesFlexible On-Demand PayY.
