Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee security operations in assigned areas of the Brigham Young University–Hawaii (BYUH) campus and the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) to maximize the safety and security of people and property. These responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the environment is safe for faculty, staff, students, visitors, BYUH/PCC buildings, and property. Responsible for hiring part-time non-student and student employee personnel, training, supervising, and delegating tasks and duties. Responsible for proper care and upkeep of vehicles, bikes, radios, and equipment, reviewing and approving reports, and making timely notifications. Required to get the State of Hawaii Guard Card Certification.
