Description:
Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets. Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application-specific knowledge. Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for analyzing large datasets, considering their organization, cleanliness, and structure, especially in customer data holdings. Translate mission needs and analytic questions into technical requirements and assist others in drawing conclusions from data analysis. Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Make informed recommendations on technical solutions, considering the evolving capabilities and limitations of data collection, processing, storage, and analytics.

Job Duties
- Employ a combination (2 or more) of the following skill areas:
- Foundations: (Mathematical, Computational, Statistical)
- Data Processing: (Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow, and reproducibility)
- Modeling, Inference, and Prediction: (Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations)
Required Skills:
- US Only
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and Polygraph required
- Information Assurance Certification may be required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5 years with an Associate's degree.
- Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science; broader degrees considered with a Data Science Certificate.
- Relevant experience must include at least two of the following:
- Designing/implementing machine learning
- Data science
- Advanced analytical algorithms
- Programming in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python)
- Statistical analysis (variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, linear models)
- Data management (cleaning, transformation)
- Data mining
- Data modeling and assessment
- Artificial intelligence
- Software engineering
Compensation Range: $45,045.90 - $99,100.98
Note: Compensation is a guideline and depends on various factors including position level, responsibilities, location, experience, education, certifications, and organizational needs.
